Owing to the reconstruction of the main building in Liszt Ferenc Square, the building is closed temporary. In September 2011 a new, modern building was inaugurated in Wesselényi Street. Until the reopening of the Main Building in Liszt Ferenc Square the Liszt Academy will operate in six different premises and the library continues to operate at a separate location.

As of September 2011, the new building houses the management, the administration and the Audiovisual Studio.
The following academic courses are also held here: piano as main subject, some strings classes, the classes of the musicology major, some of the music theory classes and some of the language courses. The Doctoral School also moved to this building.
The building has 28 practice rooms, which are available 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.

This building houses the Church Music Department, the organ, harpsichord and harp classes, and some of the following: language courses and chamber music, strings and guitar classes. The Chamber Hall is a venue of public and department concerts, exams, auditions.
Liszt's last apartment in Budapest was in this building, which functions as a museum now.

This building houses the woodwinds classes, the cimbalom, the piano accompaniment the vocal classes and the secondary piano classes. Some of the percussions, strings, guitar and chamber music classes, and certain classes of the music pedagogy trainings and certain conducting classes are also held here. Some of the solféfe-music theory classes and various elective subjects are taught in this building.
